Meet the Team
Our facilities have a team of about
50 multitalented, specially trained individuals who
cater to the needs and wishes of our residents.
We pride ourselves in providing specialized training
so that we can certify our employees as Dementia
Care Specialists, Certified Medication Passers, etc.
Windhaven Eldercare Center, L.L.C. is owned by
Dianne and Carlton Caza who take a very active role
in the running of their business. Dianne and
Carlton have 10 years of experience in running
Assisted Living Facilities. They both had
previous careers in the business field.
Dianne is the Administrator of all three
facilities. To become an Administrator, an
individual must have at least one (1) year of
experience actually providing hands on care to
residents, and financial and administrative
management to operate a facility to provide the
level of care and program as approved. The
Administrator must also be competent in nutrition,
first aid, CPR, safety and fire prevention, resident
rights, prevention and containment of communicable
diseases and the needs of the population to be
served. Dianne also functions as Operations
Director at all three facilities overseeing the day
to day operations with the help of an Operations
Manager and two Assistant Operations Managers.

Carlton acts as Executive Director and in this
function he directs the Human Resources,
Maintenance, Dietary, Marketing and Quality
Assurance functions. Each of these functions
is managed by a highly motivated Manager. In
his capacity as Human Resources Director he
maintains the appropriate staffing levels at all
three facilities so that the levels provided to our
residents surpass those required by our licenses and
also so that the exemplary service that we provide
can be maintained. It is also his
responsibility to determine that staff members
receive the appropriate training. He is also
responsible for developing procedures and forms so
that the company is always in compliance with
supervisory requirements. Carlton is able to
use his audit experience and education when
directing the Quality Assurance function that is
charged with reviewing operations and record keeping
for completeness and accuracy.

The Senior Management Staff is
made up of the following individuals:
Kathleen Brunson is our Administrator Designee.
Kathy has all of the same training and education as
Dianne and is capable of stepping into Dianne’s
position if she becomes unable to run the company
for any reason. Kathy came to us with many
years of experience in the caring for seniors.

Kathy Abunaw is Co-Assistant Operations Manager
at the Terrace, our facility on Sterns Road.
Kathy has numerous years in the field of Assisted
Living. Kathy is responsible for managing and
supervising the staff at this facility. In
addition, she is responsible for training the staff
at this facility and making sure that training
documentation is complete and accurate.

Alan Urbanyi, our Building and Security Manager,
has been with us since we purchased the company and
has about 13 years experience with our buildings.
We have yet to find something that Alan can’t fix.
He knows every nail, screw and bolt in our
facilities. As Security Manager, he also
functions in the capacity of Safety Officer.
As such he is responsible for detecting and
eliminating dangerous situations before they
actually occur.

Cynthia McIlvain joined us as Marketing Manager
about 1 year ago. She is responsible for
bringing residents to us and for our advertising
efforts. Cynthia is the liaison with senior
groups, veterans’ organizations, etc. She came
to us with many years of experience in the caring
for seniors.

Roxanne Forbes, under the watchful eye of
Kathleen Brunson, is our Assistant Operations
Manager at the Carriage and Garden Houses.
Roxanne has many years of experience with our
facilities and is directly responsible for the day
to day operations of the two facilities under her
management. She is responsible for keeping

Deneve (Dee) Wilson, is our other Co-Assistant
Operations Manager at the Terrace, and is the latest
addition to our senior management staff. She
came to us about a year and a half ago with
extensive training and experience in business and
medical functions. Under Dianne Caza’s
watchful eye, Dee runs the day to day care
operations of the Terrace facility. She is
responsible for ascertaining that the levels of care

Together, our management team has in excess of 25
years with our company and well over 100 years of
experience in the field of Assisted Living.
Our team also consists of many Shift Leaders,
Resident Aides, Dietary Aides and a Housekeeper who
complement our management staff in providing the
excellent care that our residents deserve. |
